Big news! Refurbishment and painting of the clubhouse starts Monday, March 15. The contractor will fix rotten, broken and split boards, remove the popcorn ceiling in the breezeway, remove the worn-out carpet runners, and paint the exterior of the entire facility, including the new fence and the decks.
The work should be finished well before the pool opening on May 15, weather permitting, of course. If you want to use the clubhouse, the work shouldn’t interfere. If it does, we’ll tell the contractor to take the day off – members come first.
The Board is determining what other work will be done this spring and summer. Due to a large backlog of deferred maintenance, the list is long, but the budget this year is tight, so quite a few things will have to wait until next year or later. Stay tuned – we’ll keep you informed as decisions are reached.
